Explorations in gold leaf, Starlings

Two starling woodcuts, hand watercolored. Then I hand cut all the feathers and background out. Gold leaf is applied to archival mat-board and cut to the shape of the starlings. Everything is mounted over my silkscreen wallpaper of a bottom land forest.
